Eliza Jane is reading the Summer issue of Prims magazine to Serendipity, True Blue and Baird. They are all very excited to see themselves in print!

Serendipity is telling her siblings all about her travels to and from California and posing for photos at the Prims magazine offices.

All of the smaller bears pay rapt attention as Eliza Jane reads the story of how Baird, True Blue and Serendipity were born. It is their very favorite tale, for as all bears know, the very best stories are the true ones.

Once upon a time I made many, many bears like Miss Eliza Jane… now she is the last of her kind and lives in my studio to keep me company and remind me of her sisters.

Even though they are getting up there in years, the bears don’t always act their age… they can be quite wild and unruly and cause a great ruckus in the studio when I’m trying to work!
The newest issue of Prims magazine will be on sale tomorrow. The bears and I are quite thrilled to say that we have an article in the magazine. As you can imagine this has stirred up a bit of trouble in my studio. I hate to say it but all of the older bears are feeling a bit jealous… So to be fair, I’ve declared this to be bear restoration week. If you have a furry friend that could use a bit of sprucing up, you may want to follow along as I clean and repair some of the many bears that I have “rescued” from tag sales, flea markets and the like. Once they are looking their best, I’ll be posting the bears for sale, so that they can find loving homes. So check back later in the week if you’d like to read up on how to clean and restore antique teddies or feel that you have a place in your heart for a tried and true, well loved companion!
